A Menu, again...FINALLY!!! :0)

Chef Robin's weekly menu was on hiatus for a few weeks...BUSY BUSY BUSY! Back to attack...baby! Menu for 12/27-1/2 (that sounds wierd, happy year end...and beginning!:)))
Monday:Grilled Chicken and smoked gouda sausages on Pretzel rolls with carmelized onions and honey mustard(Mmmm), Sweet potato fries, homemade applesauce
Tuesday: Beef and bean tostadas with all the fixin's, spanish rice, orange wedges
Wednesday: "Gnudi" pasta with sauteed mushrooms and fresh sage butter, asiago bread, mixed greens with feta, kalmatas & roasted peppers, sherry vinaigrette
Thursday: Gingered Chicken and Peppers, sticky rice, cut fruit
Friday: Pizza, maybe fancy ones! And a tiny bit of bubbly...at like 10, then I'll pass out, surely...not one for that midnight stuff!
Saturday:Cheddar Broccoli Soup with GHBC Retro White Rolls(they are the BOMB!!!) Veggies n' spinach dip
Sunday:Teryaki Pork Tenderloin, Rice, Asian slaw

Herb Encrusted Rack of Lamb with Concord-Merlot Reduction, Kentucky Whiskey Sweet Potatoes, Horseradish-Caramelized Shallot Whipped Potatoes, Hericot Vertes with Tri-color Julienne Peppers

Crème Brulee with Fresh Berries

Cocktail party a huge success!!!

I catered my second annual cocktail party for a wonderful couple in EGR. Everyone love, love, LOVED the food! Awes! Their faves seemed to be the Apple-smoked Gouda-chicken sausage, caramelized onion and fresh Rosemary pizzette! (whew, that was a yummylicious mouthful!:0))
Second to that were the honey BBQ chipotle pulled pork sliders with pickles on delish Retro White rolls from GHBC---thanks Ric & Betty!and coming in a close third were the Thai flat iron steak Satay skewers! Yum!
Beautiful display of desserts , too!
Back to reality today...hangin' with the 5 kiddies(2 Sickies!:() and hubster by the fire:)

Menu of the week !2/6-12/12

Ok, IF my car starts today (electrical issues with the stinkin' 99 Montana! Grrr) and I get to the grocery store, here is the meal plan for the week...
Tonight: Grilled Mahi Mahi with Thai coconut sauce, sauteed sugar snaps, red peppers & carrots, jasmine rice
Tuesday: Honey crunch chicken dippers with honey mustard, roated potato wedges, Vegetable Crudite with penzey's ranch
Wednesday: Beef Stew, homemade roasted garlic/potato bread, applesauce
Thursday: Mediterannean Shrimp and linguine, sauteed spinach with olives, red peppers & feta, asiago bread
Friday: Pizza with Maddie (I have a class, yay!)
Saturday: Dinner with Gigi & Grampy, The Chef n' Hubby are going to be catering :0))
Sunday: Paninis, Cheddar Broccoli soup (easy breezy, lemon squeezy!)

Dutch Apple Pie

Have a special event you need a dessert for, but NO TIME to make it??? Don't stp at the grocery store and get some nasty Mass-produced garbage-ola! Call on Chef Robin's Customized Catering! Tonight, one of my friends WOWed their friends with a delish Dutch Apple Pie, Cinnamon Ice Cream and Luscious Caramel Sauce...They loved it...said it was "FANTABULOUS!" Wow your friends, too!

Who says pasta salad is just for summer??? This zesty blend of  hearty whole wheat penne,sweet & smoky roasted peppers, cool & crisp cukes, and briny & salty feta & kalamatas are perfect for an Autumn dinner.

THURSDAY, FRIDAY< SATURDAY, SUNDAY are on my Mom & Dad! Hubby and I will be in Louisville for my BFF from grade school's weddin'! YAY!!! Congrats LISH! ;0)

Fresh Homemade Herbed Cheese...supereasy Recipe:

8 oz. light cream cheese, softened
2 T. butter, softened
1/2 t. each dried thyme, basil, oregano & chives
3 cloves garlic, pressed
2 T. white wine
Lotsa cracked black pepper
Blend all ingredients together and refrgierate overnight. Serve with crackers or crostini...I will be smearing this on pounded chicken breasts to make my hubby's fave" Chicken Galliano" tomorrow night!
